Hi, I am new at this. I am working on the Sellars Family Tree of
Mississippi. I  can't find very much on them. Here is what I have if
anyone
else may be working on this, too. This is as far back as I can get. I
don't
know where in AL or NC. David Wright Sellars is my grandfather, he died
when my mom was 2 years old. She doesn't know to much said she never
thought to ask.

DARLENE - Thanks - We do have another member working on NC/AL/MS -
I'm sure they will contact you. I believe he connects to the WM SELLERS
here in
1850 - don't know source of proof.
BUT, we don't (I don't) know where this Wm SELLERS is in 1840 -
If we knew Where SUSAN born 1840 AL (on 1850 census) was BORN - would help
-
Anyone followed up on her?
Does Any of your info show where HARMON SELLERS was born ? = history, war
info,
county info?
THIS is what we need to prove where this family came from.
You have 'dug' up a lot to have nothing to start with - Keep up the good
work.

1840 AL - (If Susan was born in AL)=If you don't have these census - you
may be
able to find on the Free Search Engine sent thro today - TRY and please
forward
any info to this SELLERS Board)

For Darlene Jones--

Saw two reference by you to Sellers-Eiland marriages. For your
information,
Anthony Hamilton Sellers married Louisa Jane (Eiland) Wilson 18 Jul 1859
in
Montgomery, AL.  Look at the census records in Montgomery, Pike, Barbour,
Bullock and Macon counties, AL for other Sellers and Eilands in the period
1830-1860. Abi Eiland was my gr-gr-grandmother, and I have a good bit of
second hand info on the Eilands. I have a little on the Sellers, but  none
in
MS and nothing on those mentioned in your posting.
