very elderly gentleman find his grandmother....Malissa. She d: c:

other members of this family.... Thanks

----------- ELIZABETH, Did Malissa die in Al? county or town= where was your elderly friend born? and where was his dad born, name, etc- and died where? WE need more of the HENRY CO, ALABAMA CENSUS read, and there is someone else working this county, perhaps, they can help also and maybe have read these census and know where some of their family went. I didn't see any of them in 1880 Al- But, could be under differant spelling! I placed your letter at bottom of Henry Co,Al page for anyone working on that county, But, maybe it should be somewhere else also.   Thanks, marie, iowa

Marie: Thank you for your interest.
Bedford Henry Darden was b: 9 Oct 1908 in Caryville,Holmes Co.FL
to:
Bedford Henry Darden b:1 Oct 1865 in Montgomery,Montgomery Co.AL.
Bedford m: Dilly Ann Wiggins. d:19 Nov 1934 in Bakersfield,Kern Co.
CA
His father Bedford Henry (also) is said to have been born in GA c:
1835 (family lore) He m: Malissa Smith before 1864.
Family lore says that she died in Macon Co.GA in 1916-17 but I have
not been able to find anything there and since the last known record
is in AL that is where I have decided to look further. I hope to
track her from AL to GA if possible.
I appericate your placing the info. in the proper place. I am
still very very new to the web and really don't get 'round on it too
well yet. Thank you again for your interest.
