s I said I do not know for sure where Valentine BURGETT, Sr came from.
The
spelling of the deed in Hampshire Co., VA (now WV)  as PURGET, which was
the
same spelling of the deed in 1811 in Clermont Co. was only listed as a
possibility at this time.  I have nothing having them in PA.

I did not have a thing on Rev War Michael SELLERS/Catharine DILLMAN as I
had
not gotten that far back with SELLERS/DILLMAN.

All of these Brown County families are connected.  I should rephrase and
say
most.  I just have not made all the connections.

Wasn't James KIRKPATRICKs mother Eleanor HILL?  Were Eleanor HILL and
Alexander HILL brother & sister?

Ruth SELLERS

Matthew PERKINS b. abt 1775 (PA, VA) ?  m. 07 Sep 1797 Bracken Co., KY.
Ruth SELLERS    b. abt 1778 PA. d. after 1860. They were in Clermont Co.,
OH
abt 1805 per Everts:337.  However, I was not successful in finding them
in
the 1820 census. Likewise, did not find a record of death or a burial
place
for either.

I have two children of  Matthew PERKINS and Ruth SELLERS.  There were
undoubtedly more per census records.  Ruth was living with Oliver Perry

burial for Aaron.  The RICHEY WOODS BAUM Book, by Nellie Woods Whedon pg

says he was  killed by a train. ??  Mary Ann RICHEY b. May 1810, d 1900

Aaron and Mary Ann were in Owen Co., IN 1860 census.

I do not have proof of where the Valentine BURGETT family came from.  The
census records all indicate VA.  There were deed transactions in
Hampshire
County, VA, (now WV) by a Valentine Purget which I feel is my Valentine

Marie, this is what I have regarding Bible record of Valentine Burgett,
Jr.

The email address (at bottom) is not current.
I do not have a current address for Robert H Laxton.
I also wrote to Mrs. Gloria Carter in 1998, but did not receive a
response,
nor did I get my letter back.

This was from Ssgt Robert H Laxton to Burgett List 1 May, 1998.

Below is the typed transcript of the Burget and Griffith Bible Record.  I
have recently written Mrs Gloria Carter and hope to gain more information
from her.  Also, I cannot remember what publication this came from.  I
copied while I was in the Memphis Library.  I didn't have very much time
to
copy down references......what a shame.

A photocopy of the original record was submitted for publication by Mrs.
Gloria Carter, Rt 7 Box 276, Springfield MO 65802.  The Bible is in
possession of her mother-in-law, Mrs. Blanche C. Carter, Springfield, MO.
It was printed and published in Philadelphia, 1818.

discussion went on or how the Purget(t) line might fit in. My Purget(t)
