David's sister Elizabeth married Henry HARTER on October 1, 1850, in
Summit Co., Ohio. (From: Sellers Letters (c) M. Sims. Source:
Genealogical Library at Salt Lake City, UT.)

I have not yet checked the census for Henry and Elizabeth for 1860.

1870 US IOWA CENSUS, Buchanan Co., Fairbank Township
Henry HARTER    44      Farmer  Ohio
Elizabeth       37      kphouse Ohio
Eleanor         17      at home Ohio
John            15      farm lb Iowa

1880 US IOWA CENSUS, Buchanan Co. Fairbank Township
Henry Harter    55      Farming Ohio
Elizabeth       45      wife    Ohio
John            24      Farmer  Iowa
George SELLERS  72      Father- PA
                          in-law

Please note that George SELLERS was listed as iving with the HARTERS.
Since Eleanor does not appear here, it appears that she may have died
between 1870 and 188 and George between 1880 and 1885, but a look-up by
the Buchanan Co. Iowa Genealogy Society has produced no record of her or
of George's date or place of death.  I am very anxious to find out what
happened to them.

1885 IOWA STATE CENSUS, Buchanan Co. Fairbank Township
Henry HARTER    60      farmer
Elizabeth       52 wife keeping house

1900 US IOWA CENSUS (SOUNDEX) for Buchanan Co. Fairbank Township
John Harter     45
Margaret        26
Clarence        18
Florence        12
Abbie Mitson     6 (st. dau)
Henry HARTER    75

Again, I have no proof, but family information states that Elizabeth
died on September 24, 1894, in Buchanan Co. Iowa and is buried at
Littleton Cemetery there. Submitted by:  Lynn (Sellers) Mack
