==========

Emily Marshall married John Sellers 12-28-1837 in Clark County, OH,
according to records I found utilizing Mormon Church sources.

Warner Sellers is listed in the 1840 Clark County census as between 30-40
years of age, with wife of same age and three sons under 5 years of age and one
daughter 5-10.

A marriage of Warner Sellers is in Greene Co., OH marriage records. License
was issued to Emaria (spelled as found in record) Bate on 3-28-1833.
Marriage performed April 3, 1833 between Amaria (spelled as found in record) Bate
and Warner Sellers by John Barber, Justice of the Peace. Both stated they
were of lawful age.

I'm wondering if anyone recognizes this Sellers family. I see a John Sellers, born about 1810 or 1811 in Virginia, on the 1860 Census for Marshall, Louisa County, Iowa. His wife, Emily, is listed as being born about 1818 in Ohio. Online LDS records list them as John Bowen SELLERS and Emily MARSHALL. John is noted as being born in Hampshire County, Virginia. I don't know which Sellers line John connects to and am wondering if someone on the list knows who he was.

Mike and all,
