Bedford, Taylor County to look mine up and what's another hour to look

Looking for who ever this is that is looking for Zellers in NE.  I am here

Subject:  Rutledge Frances & Jacob 1870

Surname: RUTLEDGE, SELLERS, SKINNER
-------------------------

I am interested in genealogical details about Jacob RUTLEDGE (b. 1805,
d. ?) and Fances SKINNER SELLERS RUTLEDGE (b. 1796, PA; d. ?). The two
were residing in Marshall County, IA and Taylor County, IA in and after
1870. Frances was likely born in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, Sommerset
County,
PA to John and Rebecca SKINNER. She was the grandaughter of Nathaniel and
Elizabeth SKINNER of NJ and Sommerset County, PA.

She and her first husband, GNU SELLERS and/or second husband Jacob may
have lived in Perry County, OH after 1817.

           SELLERS confusion

      From:

Hi, everyone.  I'm hoping to get some confusion cleared up.
My mother
recently discovered a Bible that belonged to my
gr-gr-grandfather, and it
has some information on the SELLERS side of the family.  It
doesn't match
up, however, to information that I have from family lore,
hardcopy
obituaries, or data shared by various on-line cousins.

The Bible confirms the parents of Frances M, but I can't
find any records of
the siblings.  Suggestions?  Matches or links?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Jamie Gravelle

The info written in the Bible is as follows:

Father Davis SELLERS died Feb 4, 1901
Mother Mary U SELLERS died Dec 9, 1918
Bro Joh SELLERS died May 25, 1900
Sister Stella (Sheila?) SELLERS died Dec 8, 1918
Brother Charlie Griffin died Sept 9, 1916
Sister Nancy SELLERS April 18, 1911
Glen Davis SELLERS died Oct 23, 1918

I'm not finding a match with any of these beyond Davis and
Mary U.

Hi just love this SELLERS list !    thanks Marie !!!!!!!!!

hi Jamie.....this is Davis' Great-Granddaughter....dawn
Marie Sellers.
you are correct. i don't recognize anyone past Davis nor
Mary Ugena....
but i imagine you DO have some type of gold mine there.
you'll probably be hearing (hopefully) from Rollie Hauser
again....if he sees this message. he is wonderful and may be able to fit
those "found" folks in just where they belong. i've got to run to a dinner
with a gurlfriend just now....but i'll be back in a few hours and
send off another e-mail....hopefully tonight. i've seen your
corespondence....
i think it was either with Rollie or Neal Cates. we ARE all
related and it just tickles me. i think we are "neighbors" too. more
soon.

Have you had the opportunity to see a published genealogy called The
Ochiltrees, by Clementine Brown Railey, published 1916?  It includes the
Taylor County, Iowa Sellers family named Milton Hawkins Sellers.   I see
them
in the Sellers family website in Taylor County, Iowa, and I'll add the
following as it was published---

Rockbridge, Co., VA.

Sellers Sellers.  B. Nov. 12, 1822 in Evansville, IN.  D. Oct 21, 1914 in
Taylor Co., IA, buried with wife, Clearfield, IA.

They were m. Feb. 27, 1851 in Putnam Co., IN.

Information I have about John Finley Sellers, father of Milton Hawkins
Sellers of Taylor Co., IA.   Where a source is available, I have noted it.
Census records already checked for Milton Hawkins Sellers confirms some of
this information.

Mormon source records say John Finley Sellers was a son of John Sellers and
Elizabeth Finley, whereas The Ochiltree Family genealogy of 1916 says he was
a son of Nathan Sellers.  However, the will left by Nathan Sellers did not
mention John Finley Sellers.

b. February 22, 1791 in Kentucky.
d. January 12, 1875 in Putnam Co., IN.
m. Rebecca Sellers, July 24, 1817 in Garrard Co., KY.

John Finley Sellers and Rebecca Sellers were first cousins.  Rebecca Sellers
was a daughter of James Sellers, brother of John Finley Sellers.

John Finley Sellers family moved from Garrard Co., KY to Monroe Co., IN in
1819, staying for three years, then moved to Putnam Co., IN.
