Does anyone have any NY Martins who went west to IL in the early 1800s?
Mine ended up in Clark Co, IL early in the 1800s.  I have a William
Martin, b. 1768 NY, whose son is Cornelius Martin, my gg grandfather. Cornelius
is said to have been born in NY, d. 11-1-1845 in Clark Co, IL.  If this
looks familiar to anyone, please get in touch.
