 Nathan Elmore Sellers is listed in the 1910 Missouri census (McDonald
County) s 45 years old and born in TN.  Also listed are his wife, Lurana
(Snowden) Sellers (46), born in IL,  and six children - Walter (15), Susie
M. (13), Albert (11), Mary L. (9), Charley (7), and Laura B. (4).  All
children are listed as born in MO.  However, my grandfather, Charley
Sellers, birth certificate records his birth in Craig County, OK on 22 May
1903.  The Nathan Sellers in the 1910 census may or may not be the same as
the Nathan boarding with Mr. Hammer in 1900.  The birth dates and ages are
not consistent.  If they are the same, it would be support my theory that
the Nathan Sellers family moved back and forth between southwest MO and
northeast OK during this time.

I, too, have searched the 1880 MO soundex and did not find James M.
Sellers.
However, I understand that if there were no children under a certain age
(10
perhaps), families were not necessarily listed in that soundex.  Nathan
would have been about 15 in 1880.  The 1910 MO census lists Mary E. Sellers
(Nathan's mother) in McDonald County living alone, indicating James M. was
deceased by that time.  Nathan died at Blackwell (Kay Co.), OK on 18 Sep
1929 and is buried at the IOOF cemetery in Blackwell.
