Subject:  RE: [LACALDWE] Caldwell ancestors

My G-Grandfather's name was Benjamin Volentine, born in S.C. abt. 1807 and
his wife's name was Margaret C. (?).  It was thought to be Sellers, but
have never gotten any written documentation on it.  I think she was born abt.
1814.  They had a son, William "Billy", born 08/06/1847 wife, Sara Jane
"Jannie" Miller, born 12/08/1853, who was my grandfather, and their
youngest son, "William Perkins", was my father.  They moved to Caldwell Parish, LA
from MS.  I don't know when they settled in MS.  Does this sound like it
would fit in with your information?  I'm very anxious to get farther back
than Benjamin.  I have some cousins in Grayson and Columbia who are also
researching this.
