Hello Sellers Seekers!
I have Obits for two Sellers relatives and would love to know if
any of you
out there know any more about this family. My line of the
family descends
from Anna and Thomas J James. Anna is the daughter of Margaretta
and
Frederick.

Mrs. M. B. Sellers, 87, Dies at Cramer Home
was Mother of Mrs. Cauffiel and Mrs. James of Johnstown
Mrs Margaretta B. Riehl Sellers, aged 87, mother
of Mrs. Joseph
Cauffiel
of the Seventeenth ward and one of the oldest and best known residents
of
Indiana county, expired at 6:45 O'clock
last evening at the Sellers
homestead in Cramer, where she spent practically her entire life.
Mrs.
Sellers had been ailing for some time and her condition became serious
about
four weeks ago. Members of her family were at the bedside
when the funal
summons came.
Mrs. Sellers was born in Westmoreland
county March 18, 1837, and when
she and the late Frederick Sellers were married they took up their
residence
in Cramer. Mr. Sellers' death occured at the homestead 20
years ago. Mrs.
Sellers is survived by the following children: Brinton, wife
of ex-mayor
Cauffiel of the Seventeenth ward; Mary, wife of Napoleon Naugle,
Cramer;
Anna, wife of Thomas J. James, 207 Vine street; Margaret, wife of
leon
Rosenberry, Cramer, and John Sellers, who makes his home with the
James
family. A number of grand-children and great-granchildren
also survive.
Mrs. Sellers is survived by one brother, George Riehl of Greensburg.
She
was a member of the Methodist church at Cramer and was highly respected
in
that community.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clck
tomorrow afternoon at
the
Sellers homestead. Interment will be in the cemetery at Cramer.

Frederick Sellers
Frederick Sellers, a prominent resident of souther
Indiana County, died
yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock at this home in Cramer, aged eighty
three
years. He had been ill for some time. Death was the
outcome of diseases
incident to his advanced age.
Mr. Sellers is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaretta
B. Sellers; two
brothers John and James Sellers, of Altoona,
an adopted son, W. J. Bowen,
of
Conemaugh, and the following children: John H Sellers, Anna, wife
of Thomas
J. James, and Brinton, wife of Joseph Cauffiel, all of Johnstown;
Jennie,
wife of J. H. Cauffiel, of Toledo O.,
Mary, wife of N> B. Naugle, and
Margaet, wife of Lee Rosenberry, both of Cramer.
The Funeral will take place at 10 o'clock to-morrow
morning, with
interment in Cramer.
