I am new to the list, but have been looking into Cass Co
records  for several months. One part of my father's family lived there for
several years. It was a sort of gathering place for several branches of the
family in the mid-1800's.
Below is a partial list of individuals to whom I am related. All of these
folks are found on a Cass Co Census, most in 1850, 1860, and 1870:

William Pleasant Sellers

Margaret Matheny Sellers, wife of William P. Sellers

Elijah Matheny Sellers, son of Wm and Margaret Sellers
his siblings: Maryan, Ira, Edie, and
Wm.

Martha J. Melton Sellers, wife of Elijah M. Sellers

Narcissa (Nora) Chapman Melton, mother of Martha

James W. Chapman , brother of Narcissa, uncle of Martha

Pleasant F. and Janette Matheny Bailey, sister to Margaret Sellers

Absalom and Christenia (Crissie) Matheny Hicks, sister to Margaret Sellers

Depending on the year, most of these folks were found in the 16th
district(?), Camp Branch, and Pleasant Hill townships.

I have other information on them that I would be happy to share. This
includes dates and places of births, marriages and some deaths. I am
seeking
inormation on the descendants of these people. I would greatly appreciate
any information or advice that anyone on the list might have for me.

Thanks in advance,
Cindy Sellers McLaughlin
