subject:
             Cook, Lazarus

        From:
             PPWT25A@prodigy.com (MRS DIANA M WILLIAMS)

I have a LAZARUS  COOK, b. 1807 in GA (unknown place), who mar. 18
Jan 1830 in Hinds Co. MS to Mary Nevels;   2nd 11 July 1833 to
Adaline Roberts.   Mary's only child was Sarah Jane.   Adaline had 17
ch:  sons--Greenberry, James, John, William, Isaac, David, Hiram, & S.
 L.   Greenberry was not a Roberts name, but all of the other names
were.   Daus:   Seminda A., Elizabeth, Amanda, Nancy, Fanny,
Catherine, Emma, and S. I.
There was also a Euridice Cook in Hinds Co., who mar. Wm.
Holland 31 Oct 1850.  I do not know if she was connected to Lazarus,
but her name led to my Euridice Bozeman, whose grandmother was Nancy
Cook Bozeman from Effingham Co. GA.    Nancy's parents were James
Cook and Margaret Hawthorne, but that is a sperate post that I need
to remake.
I have all the Roberts info on the above family, but know
nothing about Lazarus' origin.   I have seen no connection between
this Lazarus and my Ga Cooks.  I am not even sure about the GA birth
reference as it came from only one census record.  Family tradition
had it that he came from NC.
