Subject:  Looking for Information about Rance and Lucy Williams

Surname: Williams, Campbell
-------------------------

We are interested in developing a geneological record for the Rance and
Lucy Williams family. We know they resided in Yalobusha County during the
late 1800s. Some of their children were Amos Williams, Ida Williams, and
Rance Williams, Jr. Ida Williams married Sellers Campbell.

ancestry thru Isaac Dubose, who emigrated from
Dieppe, Normandy.  Immediately after the expelling
of the Huguenots from France, and to John Norwood
whose lineage includes 23 of the 25 barons who were
Sureties for the Magna Carte of 1215. Sarah Denley
m. John Lee Harrison, July 27, l887. Issue: 10, 7
girls, 3 boys.

I am looking for information about the parents of Nancy McCraney, born about 1814 in North Carolina, married Phillip Sellers, born about 1813 in South Carolina. They eloped in 1834 and moved to Pikes County, Alabama. They had three children in Alabama: Mary. Eliza, and Margaret who later married James Denley of Mississippi, and Samuel Sellers who was born in Mississippi. From what I understand, Nancy's mother and father were from Scotland.
