I have recentlly taken a photo of Nathan Sellers and Sarah Finley Sellers
gravemarkers in Mound Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio, Preble County.
If you are interested please e-mail me at Becca3k@aol.com.
If you live near Eaton the markers are in section 6 with the backs facing
a short road that runs to the main highway. There is a Rev War marker
in front of the grave. His friend and relative by marriage Samual Hawkins
is the next plot over facing the back road next to the other Hawkins
monuments. A cemetery book and map are available at the genealogy room which is in
Eaton next to the Marathon station. (down a hill from the courthouse)

A 1783 Lincoln Co. KY Court Order that appoints three men John Smith,
Nathan Sellers and James McCune as executors of the estate of Francis McBride,
following his death at the Battle of Blue Licks.  Does any one have access
to these court records or can tell me how or who might research these
records for a fee.  Trying to determine who Francis's survivors where if
any. I have some  reason to believe Francis may be the father of my 4 great
grandfather, Peter McBride, who  m. Ann Bowles in Nov. 1800, in Washington
Co. KY. at ST. Rose Church.
 THANK YOU

STRONNIE MCBRIDE
"Stronnie MBride" <amdg@pnx.com

The Nathan Sellers in the estate record you sent was the same as the one
who lived in Bourbon County. At the time (1783) he lived at or near Bowman's
Station in the area near Harrodsburg. He appeared in a tax list with Smith
and McCune at that time. I believe the James McCune is incorrect. I believe
he was William McCune according to my records. William McCune was a half
brother of Col. John Hinkson.

I have a few questions after reviewing the Nathan Sellers Will transcript.

This is my analysis of the Will of Nathan Sellers dated 18 July 1824.

Nathan Sellers

wife Sarah [--?--]

son Nathan Sellers

daughters ...

Mary (Sellers) Fleming

Jane Fleming

Jane (Sellers) Duggins

Sarah Duggins

Elizabeth (Sellers) Snodgrass died before 18 July 1824

Nathan Snodgrass

Sarah Snodgrass

Arbella Snodgrass

Jane (Snodgrass) Walsh

James Snodgrass

Elizabeth Snodgrass

Thomas Snodgrass

Margaret Snodgrass

Sarah (Sellers) Snodgrass

Margaret (Sellers) Bell --- is this a mis-reading of the handwriting???

Should it be Neil ???? if so then her children are:

Nathan Neil

Benjamine Neil

John Neil

Mary Ann Neil

If these children are not Margaret's, then whose????

Nancy (Sellers) Hawkins

Ellsa (Sellers) Cox ... might this be Elisa???

Rebecca (Sellers) McCracken

Who do the McCoy children belong to?????

Nathan McCoy

Sarah McCoy

Nelly McCoy

John McCoy

My guess is Rebecca (Sellers) McCracken

... again a possible mis-reading of the handwriting.

I believe I have accounted for all the names in the Will.
