GEORGIA, Thank You ,  I will post the BURKE CO, NC info that pertains to
these names also. Would like to see Wm Huddlestons will and probate
papers - would probably show the Gibson Co, Tn connection or where
daughter lived at that time of 1813/14 probate. We need the above info
on our Rutherford Co,NC page - Thanks, marie, iowa

GEORGIA - My Source Book = Marriage Bonds not required in all states. Bonds
posted prior to license . Bonds posted by groom alone or with a second
person, usually the father or the brother of the bride, to defray the cost
of litigation in the event the marriage was nullified.
===
NO Age limit stated here - I believe you probably owned property  for
secuirty so they could enforce their obligation.
States to own land = age 21
To take possesasion of land holdings = age 16
hope that helps - marie, iowa

Burke Co., NC.  Can a person be a bondsman at age 19, Marie?  I believe the
Isaac is the brother of Mary, the same Isaac Sellers that married Elizabeth
Huddleston and ended up in Gibson Co., Tennessee.  Isaac would have been
age 19 when Mary Sellers married Micajah Hall.
