Two Sellers, other than my Leonard Sellers, signed for land in Lima,Allen
Cnty, in 1840.
One was Jacob,other was a John. I have been unable to tie them to my
relatives. Do you know
if some of these 1812 taxpapers moved on to Allen/Auglaize Cnty ?
I don't know if any moved. All the book listed was the County in
which they were taxpayers in 1812 in Ohio. I am going to the library on
Monday, will see if I can find a book on Allen/Auglaize Counties, and check
for the John and Jacob Sellers. Rhonda
RHONDA - Thanks - These are Townships in these Counties.
A Very Good Index to SELLERS in OH early - Before Our Other Counties were
SOME of this Land is SAME land in the other counties made from Hamilton,
Which was a Very Large Part of OHIO -
1797 = ADAMS CO made from HAMILTON LAND
1800 = CLERMONT CO made from " "
1803 = BUTLER CO made from " "
1803 = GREENE CO made from " "
1803 = MONTGOMERY CO made from" "
1803 = WARREN CO made from " "
SO, if they had Land in the COUNTIES listed Below = Check Counties Made
from above counties and IF your ancestor is still there. probably same.
many moved on, also
AND then you check those counties out, etc
BUTLER and HAMILTON CO, OH are Very Important to Us as our Older SELLERS
here - They may have moved on, BUT
Was a Kid married here ?
Was Someone Buried here?
Was someone in 1812 war here?
AND where did they Go?
THANKS for Sharing any BUTLER CO, OH info
what we have collected on Butler and Hamilton Co, OH and we haven't had
Concentrating on these counties. So can really use your Help.
I kinda think there is an ISAAC SELLERS and marriage in 1811 Hamilton
Co,OH, weare interested in =
And may be same as 1820? Butler Co, OH
WHERE CAME FROM - Relation, Land, AnyInfo appreciated
and believe went to IN-memory-
Interested in Marriage Bond/security, etc
AND I don't think we have info on this listing you sent =
Sellers Jno des. heirs - Whitewater - Hamilton (Whitewater is a township
in Hamilton County Ohio
THANKS for Helping -
Will go back to the Library on Monday and search these Sellers.
1820 OHIO =I really think these should be listed on the 1810 OHIO TAX LISTS and may add ,msh
SO, its easier to See Where We Went? msh
