was Clermont Co til 1817-18 winter. SOME-ALL FEAGAN'S,and JOHN
KIRKPATRICK,and mary KIRKPATRICK  BRYAN, moved north to the
GREENFIELD,ROSS OR HIGHLAND CO LINE -WASH CH ,FAYETTE CO,OH area about
1810-15,and intErmarried ,in part,thee with SOLLERS. And MARKS. [MARTS?]
Andrew Kirkpatrick,father-in-law of Mahala Sellers, is said to have been
a squatter s GEORGETOWN , 2-3 MILES,WHICH IS THE AREA OF VAL BURGETT'S
farm-burial.

Mahala Seller,1839,AND WAS AT MILROY,IND before they were married. They
would join him after 8 years,and then return to mid Brown for 1860-70

     It should be mentioned that SHINKLE'S RIDGE, VERY S BROWN CO,OH, is 3
miles from Augusta,bracken co,ky, and on and an Ohio River hilltop west
of my Mahala SELLERS's Pisgah Ridge,and that both have CHURCHES of CHRIST
[ONLY] .MOSCOW is west,and on the river just nw of the nw corner of
BRACKEN CO, KY, and home of ROBERT FEE,Underground RAIL ROADERand
merchant, whose home was on the MOSCOW anding, 100 feet from legal
slavery. He was father-in-law of my 98 year old dad's eldest uncle,Capt
Will Fagaly, b 1830's AND RR conducter. Likely Claypool,and that GARLAND
name,came from n BROWN CO OH. 1682 SHIP "WELCOME" BROUGHT CLAYPOOL'S TO
PHILA. James Claypool was across old HAMPSHIRE CO VA from FT SETTERS,
1756.

FORT SELLERS was on Patterson's CREEK,between the NORTH and SOUTH
BRANCH,POTOMAC headwaters, 1755. Also on Patterson's Creek,HAMPSHIRE CO
WV [VA] was ,from se BERKS CO,PA,Andrew SODOSKI \Sandusky,and sons. And
one of the HEDGES,was J.P.    After EPHRIAM VAUSE lost his wife,Theodesia
Hulings Vause,and 2 daus to Indians, JUNE 1756,rOANOKE VA area-her
siblings were,1756,members of the EVESHAM,Burlington NJ QUAKERS, her
son,Capt WM VAUSE moved nw 200 miles  to PATTERSON'S CREEK,and m HEDGES
DAU. Jacob SODOWSKI m EPHRIAM VAUSE'S SCALPED DAU,and had Ephriam
Sodowski-THEY LIVED IN JESSAMINE CO, KY SW LEXINGTON. Jacob's bro,JAMES
SANDUSKY, had a fort near MILLERSVBURG,BOURBON CO KY from 1786; Other
SANDUSKY BROTHERS HAD A FORT IN WASHINGTON CO,KY. [The brothers had been

VAUSE-bro-in-law of JACOB SODOWSKI. So, evedently JACOB and EPHRAM
Sodowski courted their EVANS wives from Vause's survey . Our research
some years back located SELLERS within 5 miles, in every direction, from
the VAUSE-EVANS-WHITE land in s BROWN CO, OH. .

My wife's widow MAHALA SELLERS KIRKPATRICK was also in LEWIS TWNSP BROWN
CO OH 1880,though completely across the township from Columbia Street [RT
52 today],,HIGGINSPOST,OH which is less than a mile from BRACKEN CO KY.
Mahala did have a son run a store at Smith's Landing,Oh,AND THAT son
buried a couple KIRKPATRICK infants at RTS 222-133 south of the SHAFER'S
FEE CITY aka FELICITY,OH. Again, there were usually,,,,and earlier, more
SELLERS ON THE BRACKEN CO KY side of that interstate highay called the
OHIO RIVER. We are now used to the Ohio with high leve dams. I can
reemember it with low leval damns,m ut not with no dams. Sometimes it was
fordale,,,,,,and there were once ferries at ABERDEEN,,,RIPLEY,LEVANNA,
BOUDES, RURAL,,, CHILO,NEVILLE, MOSCOW, PT PLEASANT, NEW RICHMOND,
INSTEAD OF ONLY BOUDES TO AUGUSTA,KY,AAS IN MODERN MEMORY.

BROWN CO was cut from CLERMONT cO,IN 1818,so likely Mathew
Perkins was in,1820, in Lewis Twnsp,Brown Co [sw corner] or across
in Bracken Co,Ky.  DOBBINS I suppose was a son of Presbyterian Rev
Dobbins, who early ministered Smyrna [rd] on the hill west of Bullshin
Wyatt from Wyatt Owens,who had a mill on Bullskin Creek. Richey RD runs
thru the Bullskin rough ground; The Baums and SELLS on Bullskin were
from?
Bucks Co,Pa?
The following familes were in sw Lewis Twnsp,Brown Co Oh-se FRANKLIN
twnsp Clermont co early. Most were on the drains of Bullshi n
creek-prathers more Chilo area.
Many of the same surnames were just across in  Bracken Co,Ky. Gary
Prather's
on-line someplace,for years,with a big PRATHER database. Montgomery Co,Md
Prathers.
Isaac Sellers was killed by Indians hunting on Locust Creek in Bracken.
Besides MAATHEW PERKINS, ALEXANDER BUCHANAN JR and Laban Records were
married to Sellers.
1820 census index,BROWN CO,OH-my copy,sold by the BROWN CO Gen Soc, has
LEWIS TOWNSHIP folk intermixed with Huntington township folf. 1 is the se
most;the other the sw most    in BROWN CO.
Brown Co LDS- I was searching,on-line last night, the LDS site .Looking
for BURGETT and HOGDKINS, AND SELLERS S OF GEORGETOWN.   Anyway,I ran
into VERNON
CAHALL's names as a SUBMITTER. I knew VERNON a bit. President of the
GEORGETOWN LDS church. I knew many of the early members of the 1948 LDS
church. 1944,I shared a 1st grade seat with JIMMY PRICKETT,whose
dad,Cecil,then rented a farm adjoining me. Cecil and NETTIE [CHRISTIE?]
even named a dau for my mother,RUHAMA. Anyway,KENNETH,DAVID,AND WALTER
PRICKETT were all active in the LDS church,as were JOY DOTY and RAY
gelter.  I ramble.   I was wondering about
VERNON CAHALL's records.

Same book has two pages of BURGET-PURDUM  Cemetery listings.

There is also a book, Treasures of Pisgah and Levanna  Ohio, by Carl  N

the HILL'S WENT TO WASH CH with Feagans. ;josiah,margaret and mary FROST.
FRANCES BURGETT.     CARL THOMPSON wrote a book just on "RIPLEY AND
PISGAH RIDGE" .Handled it once,but never read it. 1824 is church's
organization,so 1829 burial's were possible.  CHARTER members- MICHAEL
SELLERS and wife.THOMAS ROGERS,ET AL Baptists joned later.   That was
common. The entire Maysville Ky BAPTIST became Campbellite Christian
about 1830.
