Hi Marie, I just bought my first scanner, and I believe that it is meant to
be used just for pictures. But I have tried to make a copy of the census of
David Sellers, with family. If you can read this, David's name is the 6th
from the top. If you look at the 2nd and 3rd name from the top. The number
6 comes out so clear. The others are a tossup. That is why I was hopping that
you might find another census of this family. I sent Frank Sellers, an
e-mail, letting him know that the Asa Sellers that he points out, that also
was in Coshocton County, that enlisted in said County's 51st Army. Was my
Gr., Gr., Grandfather, which was age 8, in the 1850 Coshocton Co.. Census.
 Take care. fdh.  Dennis

Of course, there is another Asa M. Sellers found in Coshocton Co., OH.  A
record of him is found on pg. 339 in Hill's 1881 "History of Coshocton
County, Ohio," where the campaigns of his Civil War unit are given.  He was
of an age to enlist in August 1861, in Coshocton County's 51st Ohio
Regiment, and was assigned to Co. F.  Duty included Louisville, Nashville, Tullahoma
and Pittsburg Landing.

DEC 20, 2002
FROM DENNIS
FDHaun@aol.com
Hi Marie, it has been sometime sense I made a visit to the Sellers web site of Coshocton Co.. Ohio. I did notice the listing of marriages (see listing below). I would like to point out the following Children of my Asa and Eleanor
(White Sellers) found in this Counties 1850 Census. # 1.Eliza Cellers who married Ephraim Johnson July 1852. # 2. Sarah Sellers who married Andrew Kee May 1853 and David Zellers who married Sarah Johnson Aug, 1857. Daughter Elizabeth (Sellers) Kee's died in Hancock Co.. Illinois, and the other children. Sarah (Sellers) Johnson as well as David Sellers died in Peoria, County. And this Charles Sellers who married Maudie Patterson in year of 1900 fits somehow into our Sellers clan, for I found a note on him and his wife Maudie in one of my mothers notes. I also I found Charles & Maude Sellers listed in the Peoria Illinois City Directory living next door to my other Sellers clan years 1912 & 1919 I never check on this couple for any further information. David Sellers listed above had a son named Charles E. who was born in Peoria in the year of 1875. I will try to find his obituary at the Peoria library.  I do hope that you and yours will have a Wonderful Christmas.
