Source: Pennysylvania State Archives online ARIAS database of Rev. War Militia card extracts
Note that the information listed on each card varies. I have chosen to write out some abbreviations for clarity but use the abbreviation when I am not sure. I believe that the abbreviation DQT means "delinquent." Muster fines (for DQT/absence/other) all carry the symbol for the British pound. With one exception (Jacob Sellers active service), these men appear not to have served. "Ye Standing Stone" refers to town of Huntingdon. Will provide reference for this later.

Col. Armstrong to Col. Bouquet, 1764.
Sir:
The prisoner sent you herewith has been fully Exmin’d, and with great care.
I take him to be one of his Majesties Enemies & must probably to be a Spy, &
at present in compact with some Party of Indians, and have thought proper to
send him to you for any purposes, that may be answer’d thereby, or to Hang
him if you think him worthy of it—as it’s extreamly suspicious he is—evasive &
contradicts himself, and in the latter part of his examination put on some
distant airs of Lunacy, which I’m persuaded was only finess.
Ensign Morrows impatience prevents my adding farther, but that I am, with
great respect,
Your Most Obedt
Humbl Servt.

Concerning the Murder of a Girl near the big Spring, and whether he knew any thing
of it, and that the said Fellow only answered “and serv’d her right too;” and
being asked also by the said Deponent if he had a Budget, he said he had
one, but it was too far off to go to fetch it; and the said Samuel Sellers
further saith, that the said Fellow told him he had Left the French and gone to

            "Phil Ellsworth" <cedarfil@co.tds.net>

The John Campbell whose pension is described below served also in
Captain Orbison's Company, a Cumberland County, PA, militia unit.  His
application contains the only known account of the discovery and
burial of the men slain in the massacre of Captain Phillips' ranger
company in Woodcock Valley near Huntingdon, PA, in 1780.  Rosters of
this company list many Campbells, a Thomas Sellers, and a Holmes
Sellers.  Many of the roster names are on the 1779 tax list for Peters
Township, Cumberland County.

    Roger,
Regarding Sellers from Cumberland County, I have the charts for a Henry
Sellers (German??)  who lived in Cumberland County, PA (about 1800) and
eventually settled in Lawrence County, IN. I think Henry had a son
Moses. I'll have to dig up the information and get back to you. The
charts were sent to me several years back from a lady named Virginia
Miller who lives in Terre Haute, IN. This other Sellers line is not
related to mine but I kept the information because of the Cumberland
Co./Lawrence Co. connection which are the same counties as my
Sellers/Sellars clan.
James.

Peggy .. all my research is later than what you need as the only
information I have so far is my Elizabeth SELLERS in 1840 but thought I
would post my research notes and they might help someone. Last summer I
went to Cumberland Co and spent a month researching my
ADAMS/ROUSH/SELLERS families, three weeks at the court house and a week
at the Cumberland Co Historical Society, the following is the notes I
took on SELLERS (of course some are indecipherable - I suppose none of
you ever have that problem), I have to break this up into two messages
or it will be too long:
