A company was recruited along the border on the Greene County side of the State line,all of whom were citizens of Greene County,and on
the 18th day of September,1861,were mustered into the service of the
United States as Company F,Seventh Regiment,Virginia Infantry Vounteers.
The following is a complete roster of said company at date
of muster into the United States service:
Recruited at Waynesburg,Greene County,mustered in June
20,1861.
Company 1,Thirty-Seventh,Eighth Reserve Infantry.
