Hi, my name is Tammy Fields and I enjoyed the page I found on the Sellers
in
Alabama.  I am the ggg- granddaughter of Elias BOATNER and Lucinda
SELLERS(CELLERS).  I grew up in Tuscaloosa county very near the location
where
Lucinda is buried.  My grandfather took me to the cemetery which is
located on
the banks of the Warrior River.  It happens not to be on the registry of
cemeteries.  It is now part of a developed area.  My lineage is as
follows:
Elias Boatner>James Jefferson Boatner>George Washington Boatner>Clarence
Eldridge Boatner>Judy Boatner Oswalt>Tammy Fields.

Thanks for such thorough information.  I can't wait to share with others.

Hi, my name is Tammy Oswalt Fields.  I was browsing the web the other
night
and discovered the page on the SELLERS in Alabama.  I emailed Georgia
Burnett
Fletcher and she forwarded me to you.  I was just going to let you know
that I
really like the page and let you know that I am the ggg-granddaughter of
Lucinda SELLERS (CELLERS) and Elias BOATNER of Tuscaloosa County, AL.  I
grew
up not far from where there are buried.  Lucinda was the daughter of
Hollis SELLERS.

My grandfather, Clarence Eldridge Boatner, was the one who took me to the
old
cemetery out in the woods.  It is an unregistered cemetery that
unfortunately
is all grown up and none of the tombstones are standing.  Some are even
missing.  It was very exciting to get to experience some of the past.

Thanks for the work on the SELLERS pages.  They were very informative.

I apologize for not sending any indepth information in my previous email.
My
Lucinda SELLERS was born around 1833 to Hilliard SELLERS.  I am not sure
where.  Hilliard is listed in the 1830 Tuscaloosa Co., AL census records.
She
married Elias BOATNER December 18, 1849 in Tuscaloosa County.  On her
marriage
license, she was listed as CELLERS.  She and Elias are listed in the 1850
Tusc. Co. census with 1 child--James J. 1 month old.

Lucinda re-married on July 21, 1851 to Leonard Durrett and then again on
July
25, 1855 to Milton Leonard at the residence of Hilliard Sellers.

Lucinda is listed in the 1860 Tuscaloosa Co. census records in the
household
of Jessie M. Leonard.  The information is as follows:
        Jessie M. Leonard       34
        Lucinda                         35
        James J.                        12
        Josh                            10
        Silas W.                         3
        Fannie                           1
        Hildin E.                       5/12 months

According to Lucinda's tombstone, she was listed as Lucinda SULLIVAN b.
1833
d. March 7, 1888, age 55 years.  Again, she is buried at what they call
the
"Old Goshen" cemetery on the old Wallace estate on the banks of the
Warrior
River in Tuscaloosa Co.  The cemetery has never been registered.  It has
been
in a secluded wooded area until about two years again when a man bought
the
property and developed it.  Right now it is on Lot #12.  My hope for the
future is for the cemetery to one day be cleaned off and to be registered.

My line is as follows:
Elias BOATNER and Lucinda SELLERS>James J. BOATNER (m. Mary Ann
Roycroft)>George Washington BOATNER (m. Mattie HOWELL)>Clarence Eldridge
BOATNER (m. Edith HYCHE)>Judy BOATNER OSWALT>Tammy OSWALT FIELDS

I hope this information has been helpful to you.  Please let me know if I
can
provide more.
