G-G-grandfather Noah Sellers came from very southern part of North
Carolina or northern South Carolina. Timney Ellen Parsons was born in South
Carolina; they married in South Carolina and moved to Western Tennessee.
William A. Sellers, Sr., was his father, according to info I have found on
Web. I have nothing beyond that.
Who are Timney's parents? do you know where born or where they came from?
Which Wm A. Sellers do they think father of Noah?
Thanks for your help. marie, iowa
Parents of Timney Ellen Parsons Sellers were Abington Parsons and Mary,
of South Carolina.; Thomas E. Sellers was born October 1, 1844, died 1/6/1918.
T.E. Married Mary Emeline Bradford, dau of Alfred Middleton Bradford and Nancy
J. Anderson. T.E., Mary E., and her parents are all buried in Caffey Cemetery,
Lexington Tennessee. T.E. was one of founders of the Bargerton community, which
is about 10 miles from Lexington on Highway 104.
Not sure about William A. origins.
Do we have a dna sample from this line? If not maybe a Sellers male would participate!
I don't think we have a dna member from this area. Will send this on to Mary
for ideas and help and also a link to our dna page.
and she can check the member list and result page and perhaps print off some
info for their reunion!
