Mrs. M.R. Lane was one of the happiest ladies we know this holidays.
of her children, seven in number came together Christmas Day and for the
first time in twenty-seven years all were seated around the same festal
board. Those presen being Tom Lane of Albany's, Mrs. E.Pruitt of
Mrs. R.S. Barnwell and husband of Springdale; Jim Lane of Moody, Mrs. G.W.
Randell of Waco; Mrs. J.A. Sellers of Morgan and W.D. Lane of near Whitney.
The dinner was served by Mrs. Sellers of Morgan and it is useless to say
that all enjoyed the occasion to the fullest extent. Mrs. Lane is now 67
years of age and is still in good health. She formerly lived in Fort
and Fowler communities where her children were reared. They have all grown
to useful men and women and she certainly should feel proud of her life's

I don't know. The Sellers line is one of my brick walls.
I have a great grandmother, Elizabeth Perlina Banta McDonald (b. 1847
Texas) with a second marriage to Allen Cedora Sellers, (b. 1847 in Texas).
Beyond that "information" I know nothing about my Sellers line.
I grew up
with a bunch of cousins from that marriage, but none of us have been able
to go further back.
